# Objections

> What the AI engines argue against your brand when a buyer is deciding, how prominent each argument is, and which pages it comes from.

Objections answers: when a buyer is close to choosing, what do the engines say against you? "Expensive for small teams", "weak integrations", "support is slow": Objections finds those arguments, ranks them, and traces each to the pages behind it.

## Where the answers come from

These are not your prompts. Each week Citino asks your engines five questions of its own about your brand, the kind a buyer asks before deciding, such as what its main drawbacks are. The answers are read for the objections they raise. The questions don’t count toward your plan, are never listed among your prompts, and never enter your headline numbers. The subtitle says how many answers to how many of these questions the screen is reading, and on which engines.

The questions are asked in English, so a project whose market is in another language has none.

## The toolbar

* **Window**: **Last 30 days** (the default) or **Last 7 days**.
* **Engine**: one engine, or **All engines**.
* If an engine changed how it answers during the window, a drift note says so. Those answers are labelled, not removed: every answer still counts.

## What is on it, top to bottom

### Summary

How many objections the engines raise against your brand, and the most prominent one. Beside it, **answers read**, per engine, with how many were declined, not shown or unanswered. Only answered questions are scored; the others are counted and never scored as zero.

### Every objection

One row per objection, highest score first.

* **Objection score**, from 0 to 100: 100 is raised first in every answer, 0 is never raised. It measures how early and how often the engines raise it. Like every sampled number, it carries its `±` range, its `n` and a low-sample badge when few answers sit behind it.
* **The change** since the previous period, muted as "within noise" when it is smaller than its range.
* **The engines** that raised it, and how many **phrasings** are grouped into it.

Each night, new phrasings are grouped with the objections they belong to. A phrasing not yet placed is scored on its own and marked **grouping pending**.

### One objection

Open a row to see:

* **Phrasings**: each wording grouped into it.
* **What engines said**: each distinct sentence once, most repeated first, in the engine’s own words.
* **Every answer that raised it**: the quote, the engine and the date. **Open answer** opens it in Answers, the only place these answers are listed.
* **Sources behind it**: the pages the answers that raised it read, with their type, how often they were read, and how many of your own tracked answers read the same page. **Open source** opens Source detail.
* **Create work item**: a content gap on [Gaps](https://docs.citino.ai/guides/screens/gaps.md), with these sources attached. Nothing is created until you press it.

## Turning it on and off

**Ask objection questions** is in [Project settings](https://docs.citino.ai/guides/screens/project-settings.md), on by default. Turning it off pauses every question and stops their spend; what they found stays on this screen. Only an owner or admin can turn it off or on. Owners, admins and editors can create a work item from an objection.

## Empty and error states

* **No answers yet**: the questions are asked weekly, and the screen gives the day the first answers arrive.
* **Engines raised no objections**: no engine argued against you in this window. That is a finding. Widen the window, or look again after next week’s answers.
* **Objection questions are off**: what they found before stays below, with a link to turn them back on in Project settings.
* **Not available for this market**: the questions are in English and your market is not, so none are asked and nothing is spent. Every other screen measures as usual.
