An agency workspace holds one project per client brand. Each client has its own questions, competitors, market and engines. Nothing in one client’s project shows in another’s, including when two of your clients compete with each other.

An agency workspace

You choose it when you sign up. On the Workspace step, pick An agency: “Client brands, one project per client”. The choice decides how the app is laid out. An agency workspace has Add client on All projects, Reports, white label and the client portal. A brand workspace has none of these.
The workspace type is set at sign-up. If you signed up as a brand and need an agency workspace, write to us.

Your first client

During sign-up you set up one client the way a brand sets itself up. You give the client’s name and website, we read the site and suggest questions and competitors, you edit them on Review, and the first collection runs. You arrive in the app with results to look at.

Adding a client

Every client after the first is added by hand.
1

Open All projects

Choose All projects in the rail, then Add client.
2

Name the client

Give the client’s brand name and website.
3

Write its prompts and competitors

Write the questions buyers ask in the client’s market, and add the competitors you want to compare it with. Nothing is researched or suggested at this step: you start with an empty editor.
4

Add the client

Press Add client. The project is created and its first collection starts straight away.
Nothing is saved until the last step. If you leave part way, you lose only what you typed. If the workspace already tracks that brand, the second step says so: go back and change the client.
Only an owner or admin can add a client. Anyone else sees Add client greyed out, with the reason when they hover over it.

One prompt allowance for every client

Your plan’s prompts are one pool for the whole workspace, not an allowance per client. The meter on the second step shows how many the workspace has left. Archiving a question you no longer read, which is done through the API, frees its slot and keeps its history. Plans and prompt limits has the numbers.

All projects

All projects lists every client, the ones that need something first. Each row shows the client’s name, its status and one plain line saying what needs doing, such as a month’s report that has not been generated or GA4 needing to be reconnected. A client with nothing to do reads “Nothing needs doing”.
  • Needs attention is the default order. A–Z sorts by name.
  • Open a row to go to that client’s Overview.
  • Visibility is not shown per row. Open the client to see its numbers.

Changing a client later

  • Add questions from the client’s Prompts screen. Replacing or archiving one is done through the API.
  • Change competitors, segments and engines in its Project settings.
  • Invite the client to read their reports from its Reports screen.

The client portal
