What a report contains
- A short paragraph on what happened in the month.
- The headline figures: visibility, share of voice, position and sentiment, each with its change.
- Visibility on each engine.
- Visibility day by day. A day with no answers breaks the line rather than reading as zero, and days when the engines drifted are labelled.
- The brands named in the same answers.
- The questions where another brand led.
- A short “How to read this” section that explains each figure.
Frozen when you generate it
A report keeps the figures it had on the day you generated it. Later changes, such as a better reading of past answers or two brand names merged into one, do not rewrite a report you have already sent. To bring a report up to date, press Regenerate. Its link stays the same. Each month on the Reports screen shows when its report was generated and the day its figures run to, with two possible labels:- Month to date: generated while the month was still running.
- Provisional: generated within seven days of the month’s end. Figures for the last few days can still be rebuilt overnight, so regenerate the report a week into the next month for final figures.
Generating a report
1
Open the client's Reports screen
Open the client’s project and choose Reports in the rail. It lists the months from the one the project first collected answers in to this one, at most the last 12.
2
Generate the month
Press Generate beside the month. It takes about as long as Overview takes to load.
3
Send it
Use any of the controls that appear beside the month.
Citino does not generate reports on a schedule and does not email them. Generate each month’s report yourself and send the link.
Who can open the link
The Reports screen states it in one line: “Anyone with the link sees this report: the month’s figures, agency-branded and read-only. No raw answers.”- The link needs no sign-in.
- The page asks search engines not to index it.
- Treat the link like a document you would email: anyone it is forwarded to can read the report.
Turning a link off
Press Revoke link. Anyone who opens it afterwards sees that the link to that month’s report is no longer available, with your agency’s name and a line asking them to ask you for a new one. No figures are shown. To share the report again, press New link. It makes a fresh link; the old one stays off. Turning a link off does not remove the report from your client’s portal.Who can do what
